Information about the protection of your personal data

Your personal data is processed by STATEC. Data collection is carried out on behalf of STATEC by its sub-contractor T.I.P Biehl & Partner. The survey aims to collect data on the tourism behaviour of the population of Luxembourg and distinguishes between private and professional purposes. The data collection is based on Regulation (EU) 692/2011 on European tourism statistics. Your personal data will be permanently deleted, at the latest after 2 years following collection. According to the law of 10 July 2011, participation in this survey is mandatory. Any failure to respond or intentionally provide incorrect information exposes you to fines. This legal provision aims to assure the quality criteria of the statistics produced, allowing STATEC to collect reliable data which adequately represent the resident population.
